What do I wear/bring to a Zumba Class?
Please wear comfortable clothing, trainers, bring a towel and plenty of water.
What is the age range?
We like to aim our classes to Adults so therefore 16+.
What to expect from the class?
Zumba is taken at your own pace, so it can be as high or as low impact as you and your body can take. There is no pressure on any of our customers. It’s a great way to exercise with your friends, burn some calories and have lots of FUN!!
How many calories does Zumba burn?
Various resources state between 500 – 1000 calories per hour. To get a more precise outcome please visit www.zumbacalories.com and use the personal calculator.
Do I just turn up?
Ideally we like to keep our classes open but obviously it can get over-crowded, so we advise customers to get in touch with us to check how busy your class is.
Why attend a class instead of working out at home?
Group sessions are far more fun, you learn some fresh exciting routines and it’s a sociable opportunity to make new friends in and around your area
When shouldn’t I do Zumba?
If you are already injured, please consult your GP before starting any exercise class. Also during pregnancy we recommend you check with your GP throughout the whole 9 months to see if Zumba is right for you at this time. You can return 6 weeks after birth if everything went smoothly but again, check with your GP!!
